Valentine’s Day is associated, in western culture, with Romantic Love.
For many people, this Wednesday will be fraught with heightened sensitivity to the love that they perceive coming from their lover’s “heart”.
The problem is that hearts open and close, and not always at a convenient time.
Better that lovers focus on their own “heart” on Valentine’s Day, and work to be loving, and not to be loved.
And, as we all know, moods are contagious, so if our lover’s heart is closed when they wake up on Wednesday, perhaps it will open, when they experience our heart being “open”.
